Travel bag trends we're seeing for 2026

Cabin-friendly sizing, water-resistant fabrics and modular organisation — where the travel accessory category is heading.

Post-pandemic travel has settled into shorter, more frequent trips, and the bag category has shifted with it. Cabin-only sizing, 35–45 litre duffels and structured backpacks are dominating our incoming orders.

Fabric is trending toward recycled polyester and TPU-coated nylon for water resistance without the weight penalty. Buyers are also asking for internal organisation — laptop sleeves, shoe compartments, wet pockets — as standard, not upsell.

For Singapore retailers, the sweet spot right now is a mid-price cabin duffel with a trolley sleeve. It moves at both airport concessions and mall boutiques, and the reorder rate through Q4 has been consistent.
